That seems to be the buzz word in our society right now: “New Normal”. All of our lives have somehow been affected by COVID-19 and all it has brought with it. Real Estate, in each part of the country, has had different rules from state to state. In some places, realtors are not deemed essential and, therefore, sit in their home offices hoping that their client will take a video of their house to sell or pictures with their mobile phone to post online.
It may be an unprecedented time, but people still need to move. Those who are looking to upsize or down size may be holding off. Those who need to buy or sell a house are looking to their realtor for the best possible way to accomplish the job.
Here in Phoenix, realtors have been deemed essential and have been allowed to venture out into the housing market to assist their clients in the best way possible. Many houses on the market offer hand sanitizer and masks upon entering the house. Realtors carry masks everywhere they go. Buyers are taking advantage of video tours or FaceTime tours (Zoom works very well too).
Our market is still thriving. We are one of the lucky states.
